• Can the MPC Sample read standard MPC3 kits?

  The MPC Sample does not officially support direct loading of MPC3 drum kits so we're currently converting many of our our MPC3 kits into the optimised, MPC Sample project format. These MPC Sample editions contain the same high quality samples but utilise more streamlined project structure of the MPC Sample engine.

• Are you going to make MPC Sample keygroups?

  Currently the MPC Sample does not support keygroup instruments, instead melodic instruments are generally created using single melodic note samples combined with the classic 16 levels function, or via tuned drum pads, both of which are used extensively in our Underground Crates expansion.

• How do I install MPC Sample expansions?

  Simply copy the provided 'MPC Sample Edition' folder to your MPC Sample SD card, you can then access the project and kits via the 'Load Project' screen and load individual samples via the 'Sample Select' screen. Check out our MPC Sample Expansion Installation Guide for more details.

• Are your MPC Sample kits compatible with MPCs running MPC3?

  MPC Sample format projects will load in MPC3.8+ but it's better to install the version made specifically for your MPC model as this will normally take advantage of more advanced MPC3 features.
