• Which MPC models support MPCe kits?

  Currently the MPC Live 3 and MPC XL fully support MPCe kits.

• What are the advantages of MPCe Kits?

  MPCe pads allow us to split a pad into multiple distinct or blended regions, with different samples assigned to each zone. This allows us to combine related articulations on a single pad (e.g. open/closed hats, rim shots/cross sticks etc) or subtly blend positional articulations (e.g. centre-to-edge snare or cymbal).

  MPCe also supports positional and pressure control over pad parameters, such as FX, filters, and pitch, allowing us to incorporate dynamic, pad-based controls for expressive finger drumming performances.

• Do your MPCe expansions also support MPCs with standard pads?

  Yes, any MPCe-enabled expansion will also contain equivalent kits built for standard MPC pads. The MPCe-optimised kits will be inside a dedicated 'MPCe Kits' folder, while the kits built for standard MPC pads will be found in the separate 'Drum Kits' folder.

• My MPC has MPCe pads, can I also use the kits built for standard pads?

  Yes, MPCs with MPCe pads can also use kits made for standard 'single zone' pads, just pick whichever configuration suits your workflow or playing style - you get the best of both worlds!
