MPC-Prophet

The legendary Prophet 5 is without question one of the great analog synths of all time, with its fat analog tones gracing some of the greatest music ever made. MPC-Prophet is our tribute to this revolutionary synth, with over 100 multisampled MPC instruments that capture the rich deep sound of the Prophet combined with the MPCs own filters, envelopes and FX to create a unique set of expressive instruments for all modern MPCs.

Inside there’s an eclectic collection of powerful leads, plucks, ethereal pads & strings, punchy bass and lush keys, perfect for creating melodic content for any style of electronic music. Here’s a selection of browser previews taken directly from the expansion:

In total there’s 102 custom instruments made from 2192 samples.  The expansion is divided into the following instrument categories:

• 11 Keys & Organs
• 19 Basses & Subs
• 26 Lead & Brass
• 24 Pads & Strings
• 22 Plucks & Synth instruments

All instruments utilise multisampling and subtractive synthesis techniques making extensive use of the MPC’s own internal filters, envelopes, LFO & FX, all combined with thousands of perfectly sustain-looped samples in memory optimised keygroup programs.

There’s no need for any configuration or tweaking - simply preview the instruments in the browser, load your chosen instruments into your project and start playing chords, riffs and melodies using Pad Perform, the arpeggiator, or an attached keyboard.

There's also a huge range of expressive options available, with pitch bend and real time LFO control, portamento and velocity sensitive filters to add extra dynamics and nuance to your performances.

Requirements:

MPC Prophet is compatible with any modern MPC running MPC 2.10 or greater. This means it is 100% compatible with any of the following:

• MPC X, MPC X SE, MPC Live (I & II), MPC One / One+, MPC Key 61/37
• Akai Force (3.1+)
• MPC Software 2.10 or greater
• MPC Beats App
• MPC Renaissance/MPC Studio/MPC Touch running MPC Software 2.10+
• The MPC Studio ‘Mk 2’ controller
• Any non-MPC controller mapped to MPC Beats or the MPC Software 2.10+

The download contains a dedicated installer for standalone MPCs & the Force, plus a separate ‘drag and drop’ XPN installer for the MPC Software and MPC Beats. Full step-by-step installation instructions are provided in the included User Guide. Total disk space required for installation is 1.2GB. Average instrument memory requirement is approximately 12MB.
