We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as Paypal:
Our entire checkout process is fully encrypted using secure SSL technology, and as we use level 1 PCI compliant third party processing gateways to authorize payments, we never see your card details and they are never kept on file.
We guarantee 100% secure ordering for all of our customers - all card payments are handled entirely by Paypal on their secure payment page, at no point do we ever see or store your card details. We also encrypt our entire checkout and account creation process with a 256 bit SSL certificate from GeoTrust. After you have bought your digital product, you will instantly be presented with a link to your online 'File Bank'. Inside your File Bank are all the products you have ever purchased from MPC-Samples.com.
To download, simply click the 'Download' link and your file will download to your computer or laptop. You can download your products at any time and if you lose them in the future, simply come back, log in and download them again! We also send out a copy of your download links via email.
No one knows MPCs better than we do, so if we say a samplepack will work in your specific MPC model, it will - 100% guaranteed!
We rigorously test all our samplepacks in the latest official OS version for each MPC model, and will list the supported models in the 'Technical Specification' section on each product page.
Royalty-free means that if you create a hit record that contains music made from some of our samples, you don't have to pay us any cut of your profits, ever. The only fee you ever pay to us is the purchase price of the pack.
Within our drum libraries, you'll find that we've separated each instrument type into its own folder, i.e. snares, hats, kicks, etc. Within each folder we'll have one or more program files containing up to 64 drum samples each - you can then simply load this program to preview all the sounds quickly (or if you have a newer MPC, you can preview directly from disk).
If you've purchased drum 'kits', these will contain folders of sounds for each kit along with an MPC program that loads each specific kit across your MPC pads.
When you download your digital product, it will be compressed into a zip archive. On most computers, just double click the zip file and then transfer the resulting folder to your preferred MPC disk (e.g. CF card, hard drive, zip, floppy etc). The exact method differs depending on your MPC and the upgrades it has, so for more detailed instructions, please go to our dedicated file transfer page.
For security reasons, we do place a limit on the number of times a link can be accessed from different IP addresses. In the rare cse that you may have reached this limit (usually because your dial up connection kept cutting out while trying to download), please contact us to arrange a reset of your link.
If you have paid via Paypal and cannot see your downloads or invoice in your customer account, there are usualy two reasons for this:
- You paid by bank transfer or eCheque - these payments take several working days to clear and hence we do not release download links until payment has been confirmed by Paypal. The moment we recieve this confirmation, we instantly dispatch your files.
- Paypal Techincal problems - occasionally Paypal can process your payment without problems, but fail to send our server the data feed that is required to automatically dispatch/activate your digital files. In these cases, we will probably have to dispatch/activate your links manually, so please contact us to inform us of the situation.
An ebook is an electronic book that you can read on your computer (or on a PDA, mobile phone, ebook reader, etc). Our ebooks also include folders of example files that allow you to recreate the tutorials as you read them. Our ebooks can be downloaded instantly after purchase and can be opened using any free PDF reader, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader software (most PCs already have this installed), or the built in 'Preview' PDF reader found in all Macs, iPhones and iPads.
Ebooks are only available in digital (PDF) format. If you need a paper copy to carry around with you for personal use, stores like Kinkos and Staples can print and bind the entire book for you for very little money - you just need to take a copy of the PDF on CDROM and they will print directly from this.
Once you have downloaded the book in compressed zip file format, extract the book to your desktop using software like Winzip, Stuffit or your computer's built in compressed file software. In the resulting folder you will find a PDF file - this is the ebook.
PDF files can be read using Adobe Acrobat reader which is free software available from Adobe.com and typically comes pre-installed in most modern computers.
As well as the PDF file, you will also find audio files in chapter folders - these are to be used along with the ebook tutorials to help explain the topics covered in each chapter.
We have more information about extracting and transferring files in our file transfer section.
Yes, once downloaded it's just like any other computer file and can be copied to a back up disk.
Multisamples involve sampling many notes from an instrument and mapping out these notes into MPC programs - the result is a very realistic recreation of the original instrument mapped out across the pads in your MPC. You can then create your own realistic loops, riffs and solos using only your MPC.
No, we have laid out the programs so that they run in proper chromatic order when played with your pads. So you can use either your pads or a MIDI keyboard, or even both!
Our multisamples work with the following MPC models: MPC Software, MPC5000, MPC1000/2500/500/JJOS, MPC4000, MPC2000/XL. Due to the memory requirements of some programs use, we'd recommend you have at least 16MB of RAM to get the best out of them.
Additionally owners of newer MPCs such as the MPC Software and MPC5000 will have more advanced features available in the multisample programs.
